It is 1969, and England is conquering the world with its music and fashions. Yet Eleanor Rigby, the dutiful daughter of a solemn vicar, appears stuck in the Victorian era in which she was born. Yet as she reflects upon her long life and two world wars, it is evident that Eleanor is anything but a disappointed spinster. This play is about a woman driven by her history and a refusal to conform. Eleanor Rigby — she’s not who you think she is!
